Food machinery manufacturers have far more complex requirements than manufacturers of so-called ‘normal’ machines.
A traceability system must be established:
- for materials that come into in contact with foodstuffs
- that includes manufacturing procedures
Specific sections also need to be included:
- in the machine’s User and Maintenance Manual
- in the Risk Analysis and Assessment
- in the EC Declaration of Conformity
- in the complete Technical File for the machinery
